Talent backstage at this week's WWE Monday Night Raw reportedly have a lot of excitement for a return to live events and touring.

A report from PWInsider suggests that there was a mix in expectations and emotions among the superstars in the locker-room at this week's Raw. Some are hopeful that the return to live events, and fans in attendance, will see a bump in their royalties from merchandise sales.

Others, however, are more cautious on how the shows will draw. With that in mind, there is a lot of interest backstage in how the first three announced shows will sell when tickets go live on Wednesday. The Friday 16 July episode of SmackDown, the Money In the Bank event on Sunday 18 July, and the Monday 19 July Raw show will all be on sale.

Something talent does seem agreed on, however, is how well John Cone has been performing in his new role in talent relations with WWE. Cone replaced Mark Carrano as the number two in Talent Relations, working for John Laurinaitis, and is well liked by WWE superstars for his work so far.

Jason Jordan is also getting high marks for how he has taken to his new responsibilities backstage in WWE.
