The return of 'Johnny Ace' is reportedly not the most popular

Some WWE talent have reportedly been left 'concerned' over the company's decision to put John Laurinaitis back in charge of Talent Relations.
Laurinaitis, who previously served as Head of Talent Relations between 2004-2012 in WWE, has returned to the role in the renamed 'General Manager, Talent' position.
However, Fightful Select is reporting that some personnel in WWE are worried about what this change of position for Laurinaitis could entail. They claim that one wrestler who reached out to them said that the former 'Johnny Ace' held the Divas-style over actual wrestling acumen in female performers, and there is a concern that this line of thinking would be reflected in his hiring methods.
There had also been speculation as to what Laurinaitis' promotion would mean for Mark Carrano, who had served as WWE's Senior Director Of Talent Relations. Fightful's report suggests that Carrano has been replaced by Laurinaitis, with the former having lost the trust of some of the WWE talent following the cuts on the back of the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020.
