Vince McMahon is reportedly supposed to give Triple H a six month notice-period when he wants to call up a NXT talent to the WWE main roster.

There has been heavy speculation that a host of NXT and NXT UK talent will be called up to either Raw or SmackDown in the near future as part of a reshuffle across the WWE product.

Not many NXT stars have made the move during the Pandemic Era. Rhea Ripley signed for Raw prior to WrestleMania 37 while Keith Lee and Riddle also made the jump up last Autumn.

Dave Meltzer has now said that the spoken agreement is that NXT boss Triple H gets six months' notice so he can appropriately finish any storylines and angles those talent are involved in.

Speaking on the most recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said: "The idea supposedly is that Vince gives [Triple H] six months' notice so they can work the guy in and finish him up do it in a way, that’s what it’s supposed to be.

"There’s always changes. Vince can always wake up one morning and say, ‘I want this guy. Ratings are down I need some new guys,’ which may have even happened this week and then new guys are going to show up out of nowhere without the six months of planning and some of them are in the middle of NXT angles even, because that’s happened, but it’s Vince, you know it’s always Vince. All the guys who got cut, it’s Vince."
