Since his rivalry with Tyson Fury, Braun Strowman has only appeared in one televised match, the men's elimination match at Survivor Series. The Monster Among Men also hasn't appeared on Friday Night SmackDown since the pay-per-view.

While he is not currently on TV, Strowman has competed at WWE house shows, where he most recently faced 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt in a steel cage match for the Universal Championship at Starrcade.

However, Strowman has not competed inside the squared circle since this match.

According to Dave Meltzer,

this is because Strowman is carrying an injury which caused him to miss SmackDown's live event in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday. While Meltzer was told Strowman was suffering from back spasms, the former Raw Tag Team champion was actually suffering from a sore hip.

Fans of Strowman don't need to worry though, as he is expected to be back in action in the next few days.

For the avoidance of doubt, in his Sunday News Update, Meltzer penned: "Braun Strowman missed last night's house show in Jacksonville where he was scheduled for the main event against The Fiend for the Universal title. We were told back spasms, but the official word is a sore hip and that he is expected to be back in action in a few days."
