Big changes have been made to WWE since Vince McMahon resigned as Chairman and CEO on July 22 and those changes have been felt on WWE TV.

Paul 'Triple H' Levesque took over as Chief Content Officer following McMahon's exit and The Game has brought back several released talents, including Karrion Kross, Johnny Gargano, and Braun Strowman, while talents have said 'wrestling' on TV in recent weeks, something that was unheard of outside of 'The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever' at Backlash 2020.

Triple H's changes haven't stopped there, however, and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Levesque has scrapped two of Vince McMahon's unspoken rules, which was evident at Clash At The Castle.

One such secret rule meant the illegal wrestler in a tag team match could not attack a legal competitor outside of the referee's five-count when a tag had been made without causing a disqualification. That rule was not applied at Clash At The Castle, especially during the opening six-woman tag team match of Damage CTRL vs. Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss.

The other unspoken rule was that a heel pulling the referee out of the ring when the babyface was about to win was a banned spot as Vince McMahon believed it made no sense. Triple H has ultimately brought the spot back, with it being utilised in the main event of Clash At The Castle when Solo Sikoa debuted and pulled the official from the ring while Drew McIntyre had Roman Reigns beaten.
