WWE's current model for airing premium live events on Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally will remain in place until 2026 but the current arrangement may well extend beyond then.

The company was purchased by Endeavor yesterday, with WWE set to merge with UFC under a new parent organisation later this year. UFC continues to operate on a pay-per-view model through ESPN+ in the United States but WWE may not replicate that arrangement.

According to Fightful Select, sources within WWE were adamant that the organisation wasn't planning to transition from premium live events to pay-per-views for the time being. Anything is possible in the future but "it would have to be a deal so huge that they couldn't turn it down."

Endeavor have expressed their aim to expand WWE's revenue following the purchase.

WWE's next premium live event is Backlash on May 6 in Puerto Rico. Following that show, WWE will head to Saudi Arabia for King & Queen of the Ring on Saturday, May 27.
