WWE live events could become more distinct from the company's televised product in the near future, according to Fightful Select, who report:

"We were told that more things like Jamie Noble wrestling at a WWE live event -- that we wouldn't normally see on WWE TV -- are 'on the table' for the current WWE regime."

A former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and current backstage producer, Noble recently returned to action for one night only, competing in a retirement match as part of the December 11 live event in Charleston, West Virginia. He teamed with Braun Strowman, Ridge Holland and Butch to defeat The Bloodline.

As well as his WWE run in the early-to-mid 2000s (and more recent onscreen stint as a member of J&J Security), Noble also enjoyed a distinguished indie career under his real name of James Gibson. He is a former ROH World Champion, dethroning CM Punk in 2005, and also competed as a tag team alongside Bryan Danielson in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
