Despite losing his Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at Fastlane, it appears Daniel Bryan will be included in the WrestleMania 37 main event for the Title.

Reports suggest that Bryan will join Reigns and Royal Rumble winner Edge in a triple threat match on 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All' after Edge's heelish actions at the close of the Championship contest on Sunday.

Initially, it seemed set in stone that the returning Edge would challenge Reigns in a singles match, but Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that the decision to add Bryan has come straight from Vince McMahon.

It was reported a few weeks ago that McMahon has taken WrestleMania 37 back to square one, amid rumours and leaks regarding set matches, and it appears this was the key match he wanted to change.

Meltzer would go on to say that the decision wasn't necessarily made due to fears that Reigns, now a heel, would get cheered due to the great work he's done since his return, but is simply down to what McMahon wants to see happen at WrestleMania.

The aftermath of Fastlane has made the Universal Championship picture on Smackdown one of WWE's most compelling stories heading into 'The Showcase Of The Immortals' in less than three weeks.
