Report: Vince McMahon Considered A Hindrance In WWE Sale Talks
Vince McMahon seemingly hasn't been a help in WWE

Despite public comments from WWE higher-ups to the contrary, Vince McMahon's return to the organisation he bought from his father in 1982 has reportedly not been very helpful.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it is believed that Vince McMahon's presence in talks over a WWE sale are "a hindrance and not a help." This comes only days after a report from CNBC noted that McMahon's future involvement in WWE following a sale "has become an early sticking point in preliminary talks with various buyers."
The 77-year-old forced his way back onto the WWE Board of Directors in early January before his election as Executive Chairman. McMahon returned to pursue a sale of WWE, something which CEO Nick Khan believes could be completed within three months.
It has been publicly stated that McMahon is open to a WWE sale even if it means he has to step away from the company. Interested parties in purchasing WWE reportedly include Comcast, Endeavor, Disney, Netflix, the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, and Tony and Shadid Khan.
As majority shareholder, Vince McMahon would be the main beneficiary from a WWE sale. Meltzer estimated the Executive Chairman would pocket $2.5 billion if WWE is sold for $8 billion.
