Report: Top WWE NXT Superstar Tests Positive For COVID-19
COVID-19 continues to affect the black and gold brand...

WWE has been affected by two COVID-19 outbreaks over the past few months. Back in late-September, trainees and staff at the Performance Center tested positive and RETRIBUTION, Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax and Nikki Cross were all pulled from the Clash Of Champions pay-per-view following contact tracing. The company had a further outbreak within NXT one month later after an in-house live event and Indi Hartwell was pulled from Halloween Havoc.
According to Fightful Select, a top WWE Superstar on NXT recently tested positive for COVID-19. There wasn't as much concern around the positive test compared to past outbreaks, though, as the wrestler in question reportedly does not hang around in large crowds of people, either inside or outside of NXT.
Fightful also noted the positive coronavirus test won't affect the NXT TakeOver: WarGames card. The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 6.
NXT has been criticised in the past for it's handling of the ongoing pandemic. Performance Center trainees were even uncomfortable training at the facility at one point because of the number of "COVID truthers" on the roster.
