Could we be seeing The Undertaker bedecked in all black on the verge of his 70th birthday? It looks possible.

Dave Meltzer wrote in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that in the wake of Undertaker taking outside bookings in 2019, Vince McMahon and WWE signed him to a 15-year contract.

Meltzer wrote, "It will be interesting if (the last Ride documentary will) note the deal from last year where his contract expired and he agreed to do a few appearances, broke character and got on social media as Mark Calaway, but Vince, after letting him go, got so mad that he’d actually take bookings, that he signed him to a new 15-year contract so he’s going nowhere ever again, since he’ll be almost 70 when it runs out."

Undertaker was scheduled to appear as a guest at Starrcast II in Las Vegas last May, held in conjunction with AEW Double or Nothing (but not necessarily working with AEW in any form), before pulling out a month before the event.

If Undertaker serves the length of his deal, he will be with WWE through the spring of 2034, marking a 43 and a half-year tenure with the promotion.
