Ronda Rousey appeared to turn heel at Saturday's SummerSlam pay-per-view following her SmackDown Women's Title match against Liv Morgan.

Rousey was unsuccessful in her title change and she was pinned by Morgan while she had an Armbar locked in on the SmackDown Women's Champion as both of Ronda's shoulders were on the mat. It emerged after, though, that the referee had made the grave mistake as he failed to spot Morgan tapping out while the Armbar was applied.

Upon seeing the replay, Rousey was ultimately furious and she attacked the babyface Morgan and the WWE official, leaving both of them lying at the end of the angle.

Such angles are often done to turn a talent heel but that wasn't the case with Rousey. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Rousey is still listed as the top women's babyface on Friday Night SmackDown, meaning she is still considered a babyface within the company.

Rousey won't be on TV for at least one week as WWE announced she had been suspended in storyline due to attacking the official at SummerSlam. If she will receive a rematch with Liv Morgan remains to be seen, though.
