Ring of Honor are set to return to action with Supercard of Honor XV on April 1, but after the acquisition of the company by AEW President Tony Khan, ROH are said to be ‘way behind’ on preparations for the pay-per-view.

Per a report from SEScoops, Khan’s team want to produce the show and use AEW’s production resources as they are comfortable and familiar with them. AEW have also ran the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas before, and the team know what they are doing.

The report also claims that Khan and his team want to handle the booking of the show, little surprise as Khan revealed this week that he will be head booker of ROH going forward. The situation has been described as “The AEW team wants things to go smoothly, but done their way.”

Despite several matches having already been announced for the show, not everyone announced has been locked in yet, with The Briscoes notably not fully confirmed. The ROH World Tag team Champions are set to wrestle for IMPACT’s Multiverse of Matches on the same day, and although ROH have discussed promoting Briscoes vs. FTR, before ‘Dem Boys’ go off to the IMPACT show, it’s been described as ‘wishful thinking at the moment’.

Elsewhere on the card Joe Hendry, Bandido, and Jonathan Gresham have been listed internally as appearing at Supercard of Honor, with AEW having requested a list of all performers slated for the show.
