Report: Reason Brock Lesnar Attacked Rey Mysterio & Dominick On WWE Raw Season Premiere Revealed
Mysterio vs. Rollins called off as a result...

Last night's WWE Raw season premiere kicked off in explosive fashion - and it had nothing to do with the return of pyro to Monday nights.
Rey Mysterio, who was all set to challenge Seth Rollins for the Universal title after winning a gauntlet match on last week's show, was in the ring cutting a promo about his son, Dominick.
Brock Lesnar then appeared and assaulted the Mysterios, dragging Dom over the barricade before throwing the youngster all around the ringside area.
Dom was sent to the hospital in an ambulance with a weeping Mysterio with him. Therefore, the proposed Universal title match was called off - although Champion Rollins promised Rey would get his title shot down the line.
Per a report from
Tim Rose ofLords Of Pain, the attack angle was done as "this is leading to someone stepping up on behalf of Mysterio, and that person would be Cain Velasquez."
Rumours are rife at the moment claiming Velasquez, who has turned out for AAA in Mexico recently, is in talks with WWE, AEW and NJPW.
Yesterday, Dave Meltzer
reported that a "key" to WWE getting any Velasquez deal over the linewould be a money-spinning match with Brock Lesnar.
