Last week, Dave Meltzer reported on F4W Online that WWE was planning to hold SummerSlam in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Vince McMahon reportedly doesn't want to host one of the company's biggest pay-per-views in the Performance Center and WWE has been looking for another location for several weeks.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider has now reported that any plans to broadcast The Biggest Party Of The Summer from Atlantic City have fallen through and the show will instead take place in Florida.

This doesn't mean SummerSlam will be taped at the Performance Center as WrestleVotes added last night that the show won't take place at the WWE facility. Fans also won't be allowed to attend the event.

WrestleVotes: "Good news, Bad news: SummerSlam will not take place in the PC. However, no fans will be in attendance. Source still unsure on exact location, as the northeast possibility is now said to be iffy at best."

The chaos over finding a new location for the pay-per-view comes after WWE announced the show will not take place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Boston Mayor Marty Walsh confirmed back in May that all large gatherings in the city would be suspended until September 7.
