The latest WWE Draft kicked off on the April 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, with the likes of Roman Reigns, Edge, AJ Styles, and Bobby Lashley either moving to or remaining on SmackDown, while Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, and Shinsuke Nakamura were selected by Monday Night Raw.

A supplemental draft was then held on Saturday during SmackDown LowDown ahead of the May 1 episode of Raw but four talents in Omos, Mustafa Ali, Dolph Ziggler, and Von Wagner went undrafted and they will be able to appear on both Raw and SmackDown as free agents.

Talent becoming free agents was not directly criticised but Fightful Select reported that people they spoke to within WWE were "puzzled" by who was granted the ability to appear on both shows, in particular Omos. The former Raw Tag Team Champion has been a featured performer in WWE in recent months and he faced Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39. Omos is also scheduled to face Seth Rollins at Backlash on Saturday, May 6.

The WWE Draft will continue on the May 1 episode of Monday Night Raw from Forth Worth, Texas.
