As has become common with WWE TV in recent years, several plans were changed ahead of Monday Night Raw going on the air earlier this week.

The January 24 show emanated from the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio and the fans in attendance were originally set to watch multiple different matches.

According to Fightful Select, Bianca Belair was originally scheduled to go one-on-one with Carmella on the show but that match was changed at the last minute. The former Raw Women's Champion instead faced Carmella's tag team partner Zelina Vega in the opening contest, winning the match in under four minutes.

Carmella ended up teaming with Nikki ASH and Tamina on Raw against Rhea Ripley, Dana Brooke and Liv Morgan in a match that served as a Women's Royal Rumble preview.

There is no word on why WWE decided to change the original singles match.

Fightful noted Seth Rollins was also set to be on commentary for a match on Raw but that didn't happen and The Architect only appeared briefly in a backstage interview. The Rumble By The Numbers feature was also originally scheduled for the episode but ended up airing on social media instead.

Full results from Monday's edition of Raw can be found here.
