Report: Most Of The Talent On WWE Raw Are Worried About Their Spot On The Card Now That Paul Heyman Is Gone

Late last night, WWE suddenly announced Paul Heyman had been replaced as the Executive Director of Monday Night Raw by Bruce Prichard. Prichard will now oversee creative on both Friday Night SmackDown and Raw going forward.

Reports have noted that Vince McMahon decided to remove Heyman from his role because of the red brand's declining viewership, and the boss didn't think the Superstars Brock Lesnar's advocate was pushing were getting over with the audience.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that most of the talent on Raw were "stunned" when they found out Heyman had been replaced and are concerned about their spot on the card. Many of the wrestlers were receiving their first big pushes in the company under Heyman and are worried they will just languish on the main roster now that he's gone.

Meltzer noted he had spoken to people within WWE who explained Drew McIntyre and The Street Profits are well-liked by McMahon so they will likely retain their prominent positions on Raw. Other Superstars Heyman has pushed like Aleister Black, Buddy Murphy, Andrade, and Apollo Crews may well have their pushes curtailed, however.
