Report: Kevin Dunn Still A Part Of WWE

Kevin Dunn is still a part of WWE.

Rumours began to circulate on social media today that Dunn had departed the company but those rumours have been shot down by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

Johnson noted: "Dunn's status is 100% unchanged with the company and anyone who is claiming otherwise is 100,000% incorrect in their claims."

Dunn has been with WWE since 1984 and he rose through the ranks to become Executive Producer and Chief of Global Television Distribution. He remains the line producer for WWE TV and has been in that role since 1988.

It appeared the WWE executive would depart the company earlier this year following Vince McMahon's resignation as Chairman and CEO. The new WWE regime hinted Dunn would be staying with the organisation soon after, though, and he has remained a part of WWE TV production ever since.

Reports noted that WWE don't believe they have "anyone currently that could replace Dunn" and the person most likely to replace him was let go by the company before McMahon's retirement.
