WWE could be set to leave the United States for another pay-per-view later this year.

According to BoozerRasslin, WWE are planning to run an international pay-per-view on September 2. The location and name of the major event were not revealed.

Recent reports have indicated that WWE are serious about holding a major show in Australia and company officials recently travelled to Perth in Western Australia for talks. Any event in the city would be co-promoted with the local tourism board, akin to Backlash in Puerto Rico and Clash at the Castle in Wales.

WWE haven't held a major event in Australia since Super ShowDown from Melbourne Cricket Ground in October 2018. The show featured the likes of John Cena, Buddy Murphy, Bobby Lashley, and a main event that saw The Undertaker and Triple H face off for the final time in a singles match.

A pay-per-view in Australia would likely be popular with the WWE roster as several talents, including Rhea Ripley, Grayson Waller, and Bronson Reed, are from the land down under.
