Report: Cesaro's WWE Contract Set To Expire After WrestleMania 37
Will Cesaro re-sign?
Feb 1, 2021
Cesaro's WWE career may well be entering its final stages as Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. has reported The Swiss Cyborg's contract expires shortly after WrestleMania 37.
If Cesaro intends to re-sign with WWE is currently unknown, but some fans have been calling for him to depart the company for years with All Elite Wrestling being mentioned as a possible landing spot.
Cesaro signed with WWE in September 2011 and made his main roster debut soon after in April 2012. He has enjoyed one reign as United States Champion during his time with the company and he is a seven-time WWE Tag Team Champion, having won the title at different points with Tyson Kidd, Sheamus and Shinsuke Nakamura. He was also the inaugural winner of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
The Swiss Superman has often been hailed as one of the best professional wrestlers on the planet over the last 10 years, but many believe he has failed to live up to his potential on the main roster, having spent much of his WWE run as a mid-carder.
