Report: Braun Strowman Asking For Five Figure Fee For Bookings After WWE Release
No rush to get back to work for The Monster Among Men
Jun 10, 2021
Braun Strowman has reportedly set an asking price in the five figure range for booking following his release from WWE.
Strowman was perhaps the most shocking name to be let go by WWE in the latest round of cuts to main roster talent. The former Universal Champion departed the promotion in May alongside Aleister Black, Ruby Riott, Murphy, Lana and Santana Garrett.
The Monster Among Men has already received interest in independent bookings for when his 90-day no-compete clause expires and PWInsider are reporting that they've heard from promotors that Strowman's asking price is currently in the five-figure range.
Strowman reportedly had signed a contract with WWE in 2019 that was worth over $1 million a year that would have lasted until 2023, having known his worth to the company when negotiating his latest deal.
With that in mind, the report says that the 37-year-old is in a comfortable position, financially, and therefore doesn't need to immediately begin accepting every offer for work on the independent scene.
However, should a booker meet the asking price, then it appears Strowman is open to appearances and matches.
