Ahead of last night's edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced Drew McIntyre had tested positive for COVID-19 and had entered quarantine. The Scottish Psychopath appeared on the show from his home and urged people to follow social distancing guidelines and to wear a facemask. Reports from Ringside News and Wrestling Observer Online have also noted that a SmackDown Superstar tested positive for coronavirus last week.

In an update on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that at least four WWE Superstars have recently tested positive for COVID-19 or just gotten over the virus. Two of those were McIntyre and the aforementioned SmackDown Superstar. The final two wrestlers include a "big star" who has just returned to WWE TV and an NXT Superstar.

In regards to McIntyre's positive test, Meltzer stated the belief within WWE is that the world champion contracted the virus in the days after Raw Legends Night. Hulk Hogan, Jimmy Hart and Goldberg, who were all in close proximity to McIntyre, aren't believed to have been in any danger of catching the virus from him.
