WWE's next pay-per-view is only three days away as Backlash will be broadcast from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show includes multiple hotly anticipated bouts, including Edge vs. Randy Orton which is being billed as The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever.

The Rated-R Superstar revealed earlier this week he thought Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman were joking when they pitched it as The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever, but quickly realised they were being serious and there was nothing he could do to get them to change their minds.

Randy Orton discussed the match during a recent appearance on the After The Bell podcast and called the billing "the greatest rib in the history of professional wrestling."

"The greatest rib in the history of professional wrestling. We were supposed to have the greatest wrestling match ever and it's like, 'Man, alright.' Like listen, okay s**t, it's gonna be good, it might be great, but greatest? Holy f*****g s**t, I don't mean to sell myself short and Edge is awesome, and I don't want to s**t on it before it happens but damn, we've got the odds stacked up against us.

"But I think if there's any two guys that can go out there and possibly have the greatest match ever, I think it's Edge and I. But I know I've been getting a lot of hard times on social media and even from the guys in the back, like, 'What's this? Greatest wrestling match ever?' I'm like, 'I know, what are you gonna do?' But we'll see what happens… I'm gonna try damn it, I’m gonna try."
