Plans for Goldberg Reportedly Revealed Following WWE Raw Appearance
Goldberg cut a prom on the September 27 episode of WWE Raw
Sep 28, 2021
Goldberg made an unadvertised appearance on the September 27 episode of WWE Raw, cutting a promo via satellite link.
The WWE Hall Of Famer has not been seen on television since challenging Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2021; a match which ended via referee stoppage when Goldberg suffered a leg injury during the bout.
After the match, Goldberg's son Gage would get in the ring and jump on Lashley's back, leading to the All-Mighty putting the teenager in the Hurt Lock. A visibly apoplectic Goldberg then screamed he would 'murder' Lashley as he checked on his son.
Having taken time off to recover from his injury, Goldberg reiterated on this week's Raw that he was coming for revenge against Lashley, telling him he's going to 'hurt him real bad'.
PWInsider is reporting that Goldberg's promo on Raw was the first step in a rematch between him and Lashley, which will take place at Crown Jewel 2021 in Saudi Arabia on Thursday 21 October.
So far the only other match confirmed for the show is the Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
