NXT UK returned last night and held it's first show since April 2. WWE's UK brand went on hiatus earlier this year because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
During the episode, Gallus faced off against Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan in a non-title match, Aoife Valkyrie clashed with Isla Dawn and Ilja Dragunov went one on one with Noam Dar.
Assistant General Manager Sid Scala also provided more information about the Heritage Cup Tournament and revealed Pete Dunne will be a special guest for the draw on next week's episode.
This will be The Bruiserweight's first appearance on WWE TV since he and Matt Riddle successfully defended the NXT Tag Team Championship against The Undisputed ERA on the March 11 edition of NXT. Dunne was unable to return to the United States for future tapings after President Trump introduced a European travel ban because of COVID-19.
The Heritage Cup Tournament will be contested under Admiral-Lord Mountevans rules and the winner will receive the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship. Eight participants will battle it out for the cup, including Flash Morgan Webster, Alexander Wolfe, A-Kid, Dave Mastiff, Noam Dar, Trent Seven, Joseph Conners and a mystery participant.
