Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland have ended their association with Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, attacking the duo at the close of this week's episode of NXT.

Dunne, Holland, Lorcan and Burch had formed a formidable faction on WWE's black-and-gold brand in recent weeks, with Holland linking up with Dunne following his return from a serious injury at the end of July.

Burch himself returned from a separated shoulder last month, re-aligning with tag-team partner Lorcan.

Burch and Lorcan took on MSK for the NXT Tag Team Championships on the September 7 episode of NXT, looking to reclaim the Titles they were forced to vacate as a result of Burch's injury earlier this year. Unfortunately for them, it was a losing effort, as MSK retained.

After the bout, the duo were attacked by Holland and Dunne, signalling an end to their partnership on the black-and-gold brand.

Dunne has the opportunity to earn himself an NXT Championship match with Samoa Joe next week as he competes in a Number One Contenders Match against Tommaso Ciampa, Kyle O'Reilly and LA Knight.
