Paige Hits Back At Claims She's "Lazy" For Not Returning To The Ring

Since being forced to retire from in-ring competition in April 2018, Paige has reiterated her desire to return to the squared circle in the future.

If Paige will ever be able to make an in-ring return remains to be seen but the former Divas Champion has hit back at claims she is "lazy" for not returning to the ring yet.

"It's wild that some people are like 'well edge and Bryan came back you are just lazy' I'm inspired by them. I'm not lazy. My neck needs to recover. We are all built different. Sorry fam," Paige tweeted.

Both Edge and Bryan Danielson recovered from serious injuries to return to the squared circle, with Edge currently performing in WWE while Danielson competes in All Elite Wrestling.

Paige suffered from neck issues throughout her WWE run and she was forced to retire after sustaining an impact neck injury at a WWE house show in December 2017, announcing she was finished in the ring a few months later.

She then worked in several non-wrestling roles in WWE but hasn't appeared on TV since 2020.
