NXT Wrestlers Make Unexpected Main Roster Debut On SmackDown

The 2023 WWE Draft saw several NXT wrestlers called up to the main roster such as Cameron Grimes, Grayson Waller, Indi Hartwell, Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Odyssey Jones and more, though on the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, two NXT wrestlers made their main roster debut without even being drafted up.

Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon showed on SmackDown in an unexpected main roster debut to take on the duo of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. The pair got squashed almost immediately, so don’t expect them to stick around on the main roster going forwards, with this feeling very much as though they were just in place to be glorified enhancement talent for the night.

This was a notable appearance though, as it marked Yulisa Leon’s return from injury, with this being her first match since all the way back in August last year when she was ruled out of action. The pair were tag team partners back then, with this being a reunion for the two.
