NXT Women's Tag Titles Number One Contender's Bout Set For June 29 NXT

A Triple Threat NXT Women's Tag Team Championship Number One Contenders Match has been set for next week's episode of NXT.

It was announced that NXT Women's Champion Raquel Gonzalez will team with Dakotai Kai to face Io Shirai and Zoey Stark, and the team of Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart in a women's tag team triple threat match, which will take place on the June 29 episode of the black-and-gold brand.

The winning team will be the number one contender's for the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles, which are currently held by Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.

The three teams in the match were involved in a brawl on this week's show, requiring new NXT enforcer Samoa Joe to come out and get involved.

The victorious duo will go on to challenge LeRae and Hartwell at NXT The Great American Bash in two weeks' time.

Also confirmed for next week's NXT is a mixed tag-team match which puts Mercedes Martinez and Jake Atlas against Xia Li and Boa, while NXT Tag Team Champions MSK come face-to-face with Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher ahead of their Title Match at The Great American Bash.
