WWE is heading to Glasgow, Scotland on June 15, 2024 for the second Clash At The Castle PLE event, following up from the 2022 edition in Cardiff, Wales. It was reported this week that the expectation was for Drew McIntyre to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at the show, with WWE ensuring to focus on their biggest Scottish star.

Elsewhere on the WWE roster there are numerous other Scottish names such as Piper Niven, Alba Fyre, and Gallus. Noam Dar is one Scotsman on the WWE roster who desperately wants to be a part of WWE’s PLE in his home country. Speaking to the Daily Star, Dar was asked about potentially facing Trick Williams for the NXT Championship at the show, saying how it sounds like a picturesque scenario. He noted though that he’d love to be involved in any capacity though, as it isn’t for certain that an NXT Title match will be held at the event.

“WWE has changed a lot since I’ve been here and there was always shows in the UK. I debuted on Raw in Glasgow, which was special to me. That would definitely be a full circle moment. But for something of this importance to come to Scotland and the Hydro as huge as everything, I don’t think the superstars realize what type of bear pit they’re gonna step into when you give the Scottish audience that level of a show. To be there in any capacity, whether it’s just to watch or support, it would be everything to me. To be there in a professional sense, it would be very encouraging for me and motivating and [would] reaffirm that every decision [I have] made has paid off and it will just provide me another platform of realizing that this is what has happened after this amount of time, let’s keep building into the future and see what comes.”

Dar hasn’t wrestled in Scotland since competing at an ICW event in 2020.
