The undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships are no more, with the RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Championships un-unified at WrestleMania XL Night One.

Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damien Priest entered Mania with both sets of titles, but left empty handed, with A-Town Down Under your new SmackDown Tag Team Champions, whilst The Awesome Truth leave as the new RAW Tag Team Champions.

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller first retrieved the SmackDown titles after thwarting The Awesome Truth, with Miz and R-Truth heading for glory before being cut-off at the top. Waller and Theory didn’t have much time to celebrate though, as The New Catch Republic ran in and double powerbombed Waller to the outside through a ladder with the title belt draped over his shoulder.

Theory stayed in the bout, almost retrieving the RAW straps after dispatching The New Day, but was once again cut off by Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne. #DIY made sure the ‘Big Strong Bois’ didn’t prevail, Gargano hitting a nasty Slingshot DDT on Dunne through a table on the floor, whilst Ciampa hit a huge Air Raid Crash on Bate from the top of the ladder.

R-Truth was on his way up the ladder when he was cut-off by JD McDonagh, but McDonagh himself had a rough night, as he was launched off the ladder to the outside through two tables by The New Day. Damien Priest looked to have it won after a South of Heaven off the ladder on Miz, but Truth ran in to give Priest an Attitude Adjustment to the floor before scaling the ladder and clinching the RAW Tag Team Championships, Truth getting his first ever WrestleMania win in the process.
