Moose's contract with IMPACT Wrestling was due to expire last month, but the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion opted to re-sign with the company on a two-year deal back in May.

Reports noted that Moose had the option to go to WWE, but IMPACT "made a huge play" to tie the two-time Grand Champion down before Vince McMahon's company could officially negotiate with him.

Moose has since confirmed on the Mina's House Podcast that WWE was interested in signing him, while also detailing why he opted to re-sign with IMPACT.

"Never say never, right? I've had chances to go there and had an opportunity to go there not too long ago, but turned it down to stay with IMPACT. I am staying (with IMPACT). I signed a new deal and I'm staying. I had an opportunity to leave to go to WWE, but I just felt like, right now, IMPACT was better for me with what they offered and the schedule and how I'm being used. We'll see what happens with WWE in the next couple of years," Moose stated.

Moose would also confirm IMPACT offered him a longer-term deal, but he decided to re-sign for two years.

"Two years. They do (try to get me to sign longer-term), but I always keep it at two years," he added.

Moose currently finds himself as one of IMPACT Wrestling's featured stars and he will go one on one with Chris Sabin at Slammiversary.
