On Friday night's edition of WWE SmackDown, Sami Zayn announced on Kevin Owens' KO Show that YouTube celebrity Logan Paul would be his guest on next Friday's show. Paul will be in attendance for the "red carpet" premiere of Zayn's documentary.
Zayn and Paul have tweeted back and forth over the past few days, with Zayn claiming that he sent Paul "raw footage" of what his documentary crew had gathered. Zayn claims the documentary will expose WWE's conspiracy against him, and Paul acknowledged that he viewed the footage.
Paul has yet to publicly acknowledge his announced SmackDown appearance.
Paul is best known as an internet celebrity, with over 22 million YouTube subscribers. His videos on the channel have amassed over 5.8 billion views, as of early 2021. He has also ventured into boxing, losing via split decision to British YouTuber and rapper KSI in a November 2019 fight. Paul was set to face Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition in February, but the fight was postponed.
In the same segment where Zayn made the announcement, Zayn accepted Owens' challenge for a match at WrestleMania 37.
