Lawsuit Over WWE WrestleMania 38 Incident Dismissed

A lawsuit filed against WWE in relation to an alleged injury that took place at WrestleMania 38 has been dismissed.
A fan named Marvin Jackson filed suit against WWE on January 12, claiming that he lost hearing in his left ear while attending the show at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas last year.
He alleged that the hearing loss occurred due to a blast of pyrotechnics used in the show's production. His lawsuit requested a jury trial and was seeking damages in excess of $1 million (including penalties, costs, attorneys fees etc.).
United States District Judge Mark T. Pittman sided with WWE after the case was moved from the District Court of Tarrant County, Texas to the US District Court in Fort Worth.
PWInsider noted that the suit was dismissed with prejudice, meaning Jackson will be unable to bring the suit back to life before the same court. Jackson's attorneys had requested an oral hearing to argue their case before the court, which was denied.
Jackson will now enter arbitration in an attempt to resolve the case.
