On last week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, RETRIBUTION caused chaos once again as they attacked Big E and John Morrison, Sonya Deville vs. Mandy Rose in a Hair vs. Hair match was made official for SummerSlam 2020, and Braun Strowman once again told Alexa Bliss he doesn't have feelings for her and proceeded to hold the former women's champion above his head.

August 14 could also signal a change for the blue brand as a few eagle-eyed viewers noticed SmackDown was listed as TV-14 at the beginning of the broadcast. Whether or not this was just a one-time thing remains to be seen, but more will be revealed on Friday.

All of WWE's shows have been given a PG TV rating since July 22, 2008, after the company announced they would be providing more "family programming" "for years to come."

Even if WWE reverts to a PG rating for the go-home edition of SmackDown, the blue brand will still see a number of changes as the show is set to be broadcast live for the first time in months.
