LA Knight Reportedly Agrees To New WWE Contract Extension

The brand new United States Champion LA Knight looks set to be remaining with WWE for the foreseeable future. Following his swift rise in popularity and title success at the SummerSlam 2024 premium live event where he defeated Logan Paul for the gold, Knight has reportedly restructured his WWE deal and will be extending his stay with the company for a while.

Fightful Select have reported that after negotiations (which were initially far apart monetarily) Knight and WWE have come to an agreement to keep him in the promotion. It is said that Knight used an agent to help come to a new deal with WWE, with negotiations taking place in the aftermath of WrestleMania 40.

Former reports suggested that Knight was set to sign a five-year deal with WWE, and whilst the specifics of this new agreement between the two sides are unknown, Fightful have revealed that “significant time” has now been added to Knight’s WWE contract, with him receiving a big money pay rise in the process. Fightful said that this was believed to be a “well-deserved” increase in money.
