Former IMPACT Wrestling talent Kimber Lee (Real name Kimberly Frankele) is set to appear in Highlands County Court for a pre-trial hearing on October 24 over her arrest on May 11, 2023 in Sebring, Florida. Frankele was charged with DUI, resisting an officer with violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
The police report on the incident obtained by PWInsider revealed that Lee's vehicle was facing the wrong direction on the road before the car began to move and almost collided with a guard rail. The vehicle later turned into the parking lot of a shopping centre. Police then made contact with Lee, who was described as having "bloodshot watery eyes" and slurred speech. The former IMPACT talent also allegedly kept forgetting why she had been stopped and kept asking why the police officer was "messing with her."
Lee tried to leave the area on several occasions, saying she needed to collect her laundry from a laundromat. The police officer later attempted to place Lee in handcuffs when "she struck in the chest to prevent me from doing so." The officer then informed Frankele she was under arrest for battery on a law enforcement officer.
After one of the handcuffs was placed on Frankele, she allegedly began kicking the police officer in the chest and face, bursting his lip and gums. Assistance arrived 10 minutes later, at which point Frankele was restrained. She was then taken into custody and submitted a breathalyser test of .140, almost double the legal limit in Florida of .08. Lee was asked to provide a second sample but refused to comply.
Lee pleaded not guilty to all charges on July 7 after being charged on July 5. A first-time DUI offence in Florida is punishable by up to six months in jail, the possible revocation of a driver's licence, 50 hours of community service, and fines up to $1,000. Resisting an officer with violence carries a penalty of up to five years in prison or five years of probation, as well as a $5,000 fine. The battery of a law enforcement officer carries the same penalty, with both being third-degree felonies.
Lee previously performed in WWE and IMPACT Wrestling, although she has seldom wrestled after IMPACT stopped booking her in January 2022. She last wrestled in June 2023 for Fantasy Super Cosplay Wrestling.
