The November 8 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw saw two of the rosters top babyfaces seemingly turn heel.

The main arc of this week's Raw centred around the developing story between WWE Champion Big E, number one contender Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens. Owens would meet Rollins in the show's main event, having spent the evening trying to convince E and others that his antics last week were not indicative of him being a bad guy.

The two would brawl outside the ring, eventually going into the commentary table area, before Rollins sprinted back into the squared circle to beat the referee's 10 count and win the match by count-out.

Owens would then snap, assaulting Big E at ringside and blaming him for his loss to Rollins. The Prizefighter would hit a powerbomb onto the ring apron before officials tried to defuse the situation. Owens would come back though, attacking the WWE Champion more as Raw went off the air.

Owens has been a babyface on WWE television since mid-2019 and, interestingly, his last heel run in WWE came after assaulting New Day members then as well, attacking Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods during Kingston's run as WWE Champion.

Earlier on during Raw, it appeared Doudrop took a turn to the heel side also, interfering in the Women's Fatal-5-Way Match to stop Bianca Belair from winning and becoming the number one contender to the Raw Women's Championship.

The seeds for such actions were planted earlier in the show as Doudrop complained about Belair getting another opportunity at the Title.
