Jey Uso has hinted his brother and tag-team partner Jimmy is nearing an in-ring return, warning that the Uso Penitentiary 'will be opening soon'.
Jimmy Uso has been out of action since suffering a torn ACL at WrestleMania 36, when he competed in a triple threat ladder match with John Morrison and Kofi Kingston for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.
Images of the 35-year-old working hard on his return have surfaced on social media, and Jey has indicated his brother is almost ready to step back into the WWE ring.
Speaking to SK Wrestling, Uso said: "The only difference [as a singles competitor] is my brother is not holding that rope. He’s not in my corner, you know, but in due time, Uce, Uso Penitentiary will be opening soon.
"Hey, Uce, you just gotta keep your head on a swivel. He gonna be there, you know what I’m saying? It’s not paranoia, it’s The Usos."
Jimmy Uso was last seen on WWE television as a part of Jey's emotional feud with cousin Roman Reigns over the Universal Championship in Autumn last year. Jimmy would throw the towel in to protect his brother from Reigns' beatdown at Clash Of Champions, before getting involved in their Hell In a Cell I Quit Match, which led to Jey's allegiance to Reigns in the weeks after.
It remains to be seen if Jimmy will link up with his brother and cousin, or if there is potentially a story to be told with him challenging their recent behaviour.
