Jeff Hardy: Why I Went After The 24/7 Title On This Week's WWE Raw

Jeff Hardy has explained that he was in the chasing pack for the 24/7 Championship this week on Monday Night Raw because it was 'what I felt like doing'.

Hardy was a surprise name to be in the group of superstars trying to catch up with Reggie and claim the WWE 24/7 Championship. The former WWE Champion joined Humberto Carrillo, Jaxon Ryker, Shelton Benjamin and R-Truth in running around after the Title.

Hardy's inclusion in the chasing pack upset the majority of WWE fans, with the Charismatic Enigma's name trending on social media in the aftermath of this week's Raw.

Hardy has now moved to quell the situation, saying that's what he was asked to do and he's excited for whatever is to come this coming Monday on the red brand.

Speaking on Felger & Massaroti, Hardy explained: "Monday night in Miami, that's just what I felt like doing, so I had to do. I was in the chase for the 24/7 Title and it just didn't work out, man.

"It's one of those things. I show up to work and do what they need me to do and move on. That's in the past and this Monday is the future so I'm super excited."
