The owner of Game Changer Wrestling, Brett Lauderdale, does not believe the former Bray Wyatt has any interest in making appearances on the independent wrestling scene.
Windham Rotunda was released from WWE at the end of July and has teased his next move on social media after his 90-day non-compete clause with the promotion expired at the end of October.
The former WWE Champion has been heavily linked with both All Elite Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling, while reports also suggest he has taken enquiries from Hollywood, and Lauderdale feels Wyatt's standing is that he won't be appearing at independent wrestling events.
Talking to The Wrestling Inc. Daily, when asked if he had spoken to Rotunda about an appearance in GCW, Lauderdale said: "I have never talked to Bray Wyatt, but my understanding is that I don’t know that our world is very appealing to Bray Wyatt.
When asked to further elaborate, Lauderdale clarified: "There’s no secret message there. I think that he’s not interested in making the rounds on the indies. That’s my understanding.
"I don’t mean any negative implication that he said anything because I’ve never spoken to him. From people I know, that he knows and whatever, it just doesn’t seem like it’s something that’s on his to-do list anytime soon."
