As has become somewhat of an annual occurrence since 2020, WWE carried out talent cuts in the days following WrestleMania 42, with those cuts taking place on Friday, April 24.
As part of those releases, the Wyatt Sicks faction was obliterated, with every member of the faction being let go. This included Uncle Howdy/Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan. Their WWE departures came just one week after the Wyatt Sicks finished up their programme with The MFTs on the go-home edition of SmackDown before WrestleMania 42.
Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, the Motor City Machine Guns, Santos Escobar, Apollo Crews, and Kairi Sane were also a part of the WWE departures.
Alba Fyre, who had been on WWE TV as part of Chelsea Green's Secret Hervice, was also cut by WWE. Zoey Stark, who had been out of action since May 2025 with a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus, was also let go. She had recently been cleared for an in-ring return, according to Fightful Select.
WWE NXT's Andre Chase announced he was released by WWE. Chase had been a popular member of the NXT roster as the leader of Chase University since signing with WWE in 2021.
Dante Chen was also let go after five years with the company, as was Tyson Dupont, Tyriek Igwe, Chris Island, Olympic gold medallist Tyra Mae Steele, Sirena Linton, Trill London, Malik Blade, and Luca Crusifino from NXT.
Two days after the departures, NXT's Carlee Bright announced she was a part of the WWE releases on Friday, April 24.
As is often the case with WWE departures, WWE main roster wrestlers are still under contract for a further 90 days, while NXT talents are under contract for another 30 days.
