Batista and Vladimir Kozlov are no longer the only former WWE talents to be featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The first trailer for She-Hulk was recently released and the final sequence of the trailer showed protagonist Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk on numerous dates. As the men flashed across the screen, viewers quickly noticed one of them was David Otunga, who could be seen flexing his muscles while in a restaurant.
Otunga then confirmed his involvement in the series, tweeting: "I had to show off my biceps for #SheHulk. I couldn't help it! I can't wait for you all to see it! @MarvelStudios @disneyplus @Marvel."
Shortly after graduating from Harvard Law School, Otunga signed with WWE in 2008 and remained with the company, first as an in-ring talent and then as an announcer until he quietly left in 2018. During his WWE run, he became a two-time tag team champion, holding the gold with John Cena and then Michael McGillicutty. He also won the Pee-Wee Herman Bowtie award in 2011.
She-Hulk will be a nine-episode series on Disney+ and the show's premiere is set for August 17, 2022.
