A public relations representative working with former WWE employee Janel Grant is an ex-Trump administration communications aide, according to a report.

POST Wrestling revealed that Grant is being represented by PR firm The Agency Group (or TAG), with their agent Carolina Hurley working prominently with Grant during her lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE.

Hurley had previously worked in the White House during Trump's presidency, as part of the White House Communications Office. She was, however, never part of Trump's political campaigns (according to a person familiar with her work history).

In an email to POST Wrestling, Grant's attorney Ann Callis wrote:

"Carolina disclosed the Trump connection before we hired TAG. Our team had confidence that her team, comprised of competent and experienced women, led by a woman with a stellar resumé was the optimum way to assist Janel in getting her message across while dispelling all of the negative onslaught that we knew was coming her way".

As an interesting aside, TAG also work with Logan Paul's PRIME Energy, who have a major sponsorship deal with WWE.

As far as Trump and McMahon, their association goes back decades and they are, according to a recent NBC News report, still in regular contact with one another.

Grant yesterday agreed to pause her lawsuit against McMahon, Laurinaitis and WWE at the request of the United States Department of Justice, who are carrying out their own investigation into McMahon. There is speculation that the Department of Justice requested the lawsuit be paused (supposedly for around six months) because they are close to an indictment on McMahon.
