WWE's cruiserweight division has been in a state of flux since it moved to NXT. Some Superstars like Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali have remained on the main roster, while others followed the division to the black and gold brand. Even stars from NXT UK like Jordan Devlin have jumped across the pond and achieved great success as he won the NXT Cruiserweight Championship at Worlds Collide.

Now, another cruiserweight has transitioned to the main roster as former champion Angel Garza debuted on Raw during last night's episode. The former luchador only lost the Cruiserweight title on January 25 to Devlin but with Andrade's suspension, WWE has seemingly fast-tracked him to the main roster.

Garza quickly entered a new programme on WWE's flagship show as while Humberto Carrillo waited for his opponent, the former AAA star's music played and he made his way to the ring with Zelina Vega to confront his cousin.

The pair then berated Carrillo as Garza told The High-Flying Sensation that he was a disgrace to their family. After Carrillo snatched the microphone from his hand, Garza beat down his family member as he sought revenge for Andrade. He then looked to replicate Carrillo's Hammerlock DDT onto the concrete floor from last week's episode but was stopped by Rey Mysterio.

This led to a match between the two Superstars which only ended after Mysterio's head was driven into the concrete, as he suffered the same fate that previously awaited Carrillo.

The feud looks set to become personal very quickly as besides being family, Garza and Carrillo often teamed together in Mexico as El Hijo Del Ninja/Garza Jr. and Ultimo Ninja. They achieved great success as a tag team, winning The Crash Tag Team Championships in 2016.
