Emma Returns To WWE On SmackDown
Her first WWE appearance in over five years
Oct 29, 2022
Emma (Tenille Dashwood) made her return to WWE on the October 28 broadcast of WWE SmackDown, more than five years after her last prior match with the company.
Emma answered the open challenge of SmackDown Women's champion Ronda Rousey, but was unable to win the title, succumbing to Rousey's armbar.
It is unknown if Emma's return is a full-time deal.
Under the Emma name, Dashwood was signed to WWE from 2011 to 2017. She debuted on the main roster in early 2014 as a babyface character, and actually took part in a 14-woman, one-fall match for the Divas title at that year's WrestleMania.
After spending the latter part of her WWE run as a heel, Emma was let go in the autumn of 2017. She turned up in Ring of Honor in early 2018, and stayed with the company for a little over one year.
Dashwood then signed with Impact in 2019, where she would spend the next three years. While there, Dashwood reigned as one half of the Knockouts Tag Team champions with Madison Rayne.
