Edge Teases Who He Will Face At WWE WrestleMania On Raw

Edge made his return to WWE Raw this week, and cut a promo, teasing who he could be facing at this year’s upcoming WrestleMania 38.

‘The Rated R Superstar’ spoke of his legacy at WrestleMania, from being in the building for Mania 14, through TLC II at X-Seven, becoming the first Money in the Bank winner at Mania 21, his hardcore match with Mick Foley, and title matches against Undertaker and Alberto Del Rio, all before his triumphant comeback at WrestleMania 36.

Throughout this segment Edge was passionate and fired up, telling the locker room he needs someone to step up and take on a certified living legend at Mania, saying he wants his match at WrestleMania 38 to be ‘phenomenal’ - a not so subtle nod at AJ Styles.

Styles has made no secret of his desire to take on Edge at Mania, saying as much to WWE’s The Bump and to BT Sports’ Ariel Helwani in recent weeks.

Edge also threw in the word ‘undeniable’ in his speech, which some have seen as a hint at Cody Rhodes being the man for the job, with the former AEW EVP being strongly rumoured with a return to WWE in time for WrestleMania.

Whether Styles or Rhodes steps up to the plate, Edge’s match at WrestleMania 38 is sure to get people talking.
