Edge Credits Jey Uso For Creating 'Glasgow Grin' Spot At WWE WrestleMania 37

Edge has revealed his enjoyment at getting back to the collaborative creative effort in wrestling, revealing how Jey Uso came up with the 'Glasgow Grin' spot on Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 37.

Edge has spoken openly about working with as many different names as possible, following his shock return to wrestling at the 2020 Royal Rumble, and has explained how much he relishes the creative process.

Going into a dive about WrestleMania 37, the WWE Hall Of Famer was thrilled with collaborate with the names involved in the match, revealing that it was Uso that came up with the 'Glasgow Grin' - the chair-leg-assisted cross-face that Edge has used on Roman Reigns, and the other members of the Usos since.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated about WrestleMania 37, Edge said: "I got to share a ring with Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. Before that, me and Bryan, we’d been in the ring for something like four minutes together, so that was something I’d always wanted to do. Roman is just operating on a whole other level and he’s still getting better. Every week, I’m reminded of how good he truly is.

"That match felt like it flew by, and it was so much fun to collaborate with Roman, Bryan, Paul Heyman, Jey Uso, and Michael Hayes. My favourite part of the match was that ‘Glasgow Grin’ I got on Roman. That whole sequence was actually Jey Uso’s idea. It was so cool to have such great minds collaborate about something we’re all so passionate about."
