Edge Admits He's Excited To Wrestle Randy Orton In An Empty Arena At WWE WrestleMania 36
A challenge he can thrive on...

Since they started running empty arena shows last week, WWE has seemingly failed to find the right balance to produce compelling TV. Matches have come across as somewhat disjointed and the company has been forced to fill air time by replaying pay-per-view matches from earlier in the year.
This has left many fans worried as to how WrestleMania 36 will turn out, with over seven hours of wrestling scheduled to take place with no audience. One person who is not worried, however, is Edge who is set to face Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match at The Showcase Of The Immortals.
During a recent appearance on Gorilla Position, The Rated-R Superstar admitted it wasn't ideal having to wrestle in an empty arena, but he was excited because "it's an entirely blank canvas" and he thinks he and Orton are good enough to have an incredible, unique match despite the circumstances.
Edge said: "Here's the crazy part, it's never been done before right? There's been the empty arena match with Mick and Rock but nothing like this. Nothing like WrestleMania in an empty Performance Center, it hasn't been done. And sure, it's not ideal, we all get it, but we have to make do and we have to figure out, we have to adapt, and that's what this whole thing will be.
"I know, and I feel confident because I know in Randy I have one of, and I don't say this lightly, one of the best-ever or possibly, it's all subjective, truly the best to ever do this. Now, you get my brain and his natural ability on this thing and I'm excited. I’m excited on what we can do and what we can bring to the audience because all bets are off, there's no rules, it's an entirely blank canvas. And when I think back to Christian and I versus The Hardys in the first ever Tag Team Ladder match, man we had a blank canvas and look how that turned out. So, I'm truly looking at this, I'm involved in another first. We all are with WrestleMania, but Randy and I, in particular, have a match with a Last Man Standing match, if he accepts, that just has a blank canvas, and again, that's exciting. That's a challenge I thrive on. I'd like to think it's a challenge that Randy thrives on too."
